ARSIC Social Impact Consulting has an established presence across Southeast Asia and is actively expanding our reach. We are seeking dynamic external contractors to collaborate on high-impact evaluations, research, and consultancy assignments in our priority countries (Thailand, Timor-Leste, Cambodia, Sri Lanka). Location: Remote and global position for qualified individuals from the ARSIC priority countries in SE Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Papua New Guinea).
Contract type: External contractors with separate contracts drafted for each specific assignment and based on demand. The possibility of full-time collaboration at a later stage, depending on the scope and nature of ARSIC assignments in each country.

About the Role.
We are looking for external country-based contractors to support us in performing a range of evaluations, research, and other projects in Southeast Asia and join ARSIC in new tenders and expressions of interest.
This cooperation will be ‘on the need basis’, and the conditions (fees, timeline, the scope of work, etc.) will be agreed upon for each separate assignment. This includes working with ARSIC to pursue new consultancy assignments.
Currently, our priority countries in SE Asia are Thailand, Timor-Leste, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka. However, experts from other countries and regions are also encouraged to apply if you are interested in collaborating with us.
The task differs significantly and will also depend on the level of experiences of the individual and can include:

Coordinating country-level consultancy assignments;

Carrying out in-county evaluations, research, and capacity-building assignments;

Performing data collection tasks, including key informant interviews, focus group discussions and administration of surveys;

Performing desk reviews, legal and policy analysis, and other tasks, as relevant;

Contributing to other regional and international consultancy assignments;
-
Other tasks as needed and agreed on as part of each specific assignment.
The work hours, the scope of the assignment, and daily or monthly fee will be agreed upon for each assignment specifically.
Required Qualification.

The right to work and presence in one of the Southeast Asia countries;

Excellent knowledge of English and one of the languages of Southeast Asia countries;

Master’s degree in international development, human rights, political sciences, sociology, and/or other relevant fields;

Relevant research, evaluation, training, and other consultancies/work assignments at the national
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
-
Expertise or interest in one or more ARSIC thematic areas (child rights and child protection, migration and displacement gender equality and women empowerment, etc.)

Flexibility and ability to work across time zones (if required by the contract) and to complete milestones and deadlines;

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills;
