MEAL/Evaluation Associate
(Global & Remote)
We are seeking highly motivated MEAL/Evaluation Associate to join ARSIC as an external Associate. In this external and assignment-based role, you will support ongoing applications, contribute to new tender development, and deliver high-quality MEAL services for projects worldwide.
Position Type: External Consultant / Assignment-based
Location: Global (Remote)
Engagement Type: Scope of work depending on the past-experiences and type of assignment.
About the Role.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement MEAL frameworks, tools, and strategies tailored to project objectives.

Design and conduct evaluations, including baseline, midline, and endline assessments.

Support proposal writing and contribute to securing new tenders with tailored MEAL approaches.

Collect, analyze, and report qualitative and quantitative data to assess project performance.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accountability and learning.

Provide capacity-strengthening sessions on MEAL for partners and clients.
Required Qualification.

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics, or a related field.

Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in MEAL or evaluation, preferably in national or international context.

Proven experience in supporting proposal development and tender applications.

Skills:
-
Proficiency in MEAL tools and software (e.g., KoboToolbox, SPSS, NVivo, or similar).

Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English (additional languages are a plus).

Familiarity with donor requirements and global MEAL frameworks (e.g., OECD-DAC, Core Humanitarian Standards).
