MEAL/Evaluation Associate
(Global & Remote) 

We are seeking highly motivated MEAL/Evaluation Associate to join ARSIC as an external Associate. In this external and assignment-based role, you will support ongoing applications, contribute to new tender development, and deliver high-quality MEAL services for projects worldwide.

Position Type: External Consultant / Assignment-based
Location: Global (Remote)
Engagement Type: Scope of work depending on the past-experiences and type of assignment.  

About the Role.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement MEAL frameworks, tools, and strategies tailored to project objectives.

  • Design and conduct evaluations, including baseline, midline, and endline assessments.

  • Support proposal writing and contribute to securing new tenders with tailored MEAL approaches.

  • Collect, analyze, and report qualitative and quantitative data to assess project performance.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accountability and learning.

  • Provide capacity-strengthening sessions on MEAL for partners and clients.​​

Required Qualification.

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in MEAL or evaluation, preferably in national or international context.

    • Proven experience in supporting proposal development and tender applications.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in MEAL tools and software (e.g., KoboToolbox, SPSS, NVivo, or similar).

    • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (additional languages are a plus).

    • Familiarity with donor requirements and global MEAL frameworks (e.g., OECD-DAC, Core Humanitarian Standards).

  • Other Requirements:

    • Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment.

    • Flexibility to adapt to varying project needs and timelines.
